Orbit Utopia is a concept album dealing with the biographies of twelve visionaries who pushed the envelope of science at their times.
The cover artwork is assembled of their phantasms and actual achievements. Grebennikov’s levitation platform driven by insect shells, Bourdais’ concept of a monumental lighthouse for Paris (that didn’t make its way against a tower by Gustav Eiffel), Cunitz’ astronomic tables — all together form a fantastic yet fragile airship that stands for the dissolute spirits of science.
